american born producer Zack B , working under the codename: sz0n1ck [an amalgamation of the word 'sonic', his own name 'zack', and the 0 and 1 's that are the primary building blocks of his beloved digital audio] has carved a unique place in the intersection of drum & bass music, signature sound design, and custom software development. much of his work is released thru his own imprint, Freestyle Recordings [FSR], which features his solo debut as well as work alongside collaborators such as Spiral'' and Squarewave. Aliases and collaborations include SOMA , ZEBRA , SCHIZOMIMETIX [with OmCreator], and a rotating cast of collaborators under the RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT and ECLIPSE aliases [with Squarewave]. the Imprint also includes a software development firm, headed by zack, creating customized audio software for producers, including MALDINI [BC], OPTIV [C4C], SPOR , and PENDULUM to name but a few. This year sees sz0n1ck hard at work on several highly secretive sound design projects for film & other digital media, overseeing the launch of several new software projects, as well as touring in support of new releases via FSR Digital, Airtight Imprint & Xposure Recordings UK.
